There is a damp smell in one corner of the room; the heating is very loud and noisy; the room has two windows but because it is located on the first floor, it is not convenient to open the windows directly to the corridor and the street, and the room will be a bit stuffy. On the first night, the power was cut off halfway through drying hair, and the power was cut off again the next day when cooking. However, as long as the main power supply is turned off and on again, the power can be restored immediately, and after responding to the owner of the homestay, a reply and solution are quickly received. But a few nights later, when I turned on two stoves for cooking and was using the washing machine at the same time, the power was cut off again.

Great location in Santa Cruz neighbourhood
Our apartment was located on the ground floor, next to the entrance. During the night there was a lot of noise from the streets, but also from people entering the building (this was accompanied by light shining through the window from the hallway every time someone came in). After the first night we contacted the host, they offered us another apartment in the city, but then we had to pay €40 for cleaning the apartment, so we decided to stay anyway. Make sure to bring earplugs!

Kamer zag er op het eerste gezicht erg goed uit, afwerking laat soms wat te wensen over. Badkamer is goed, maar vochtig (optrekkend vocht in de muren) wat je door het appartement ruikt.

Noise. Every morning from 7 o´clock there was very loud noise coming from the construction work in the building next to the property. And the AC was loud as well.

L’emplacement et la décoration
Ayant passé le séjour dans l’appartement du rez-de-chaussée : Lorsque nous rentrions en fin de journée, il était très humide (le canapé et les linges de lit pouvaient en témoigner) et avec l’odeur qui allait avec. De plus, nous avions le droit à tout le bruit dû aux allers et venues du voisinage car il n’était pas insonorisé. De plus, l’appartement donnant sur le hall d’entrée, nous avions la lumière de celui-ci qui rentrait directement au niveau de l’espace chambre à coucher.

- Weinig tot geen kastruimte. Er was slechts één hangkast met een beperkt aantal hangers.
Literie très bonne. Studio confortable. Situé à deux pas de tous les lieux touristiques, dans ruelle calme mais je pense que la salle de douche-WC etait petite.
Het appartement lag aan een steegje van Santa Cruz met veel voorbijgangers, dus wel wat lawaaiierig. Het raam kon daardoor niet echt open. Het appartement was vochtig en had daardoor een muffe lucht. Ik miste een buitenplek welke ik wel had gezien op de fotopresentatie

Unica nota negativa: abbiamo dovuto attendere 20 minuti l’arrivo della ragazza addetta al check-in.
Apartment distribution, location, shampoo and shower gel availability.
It would be great to have a water filter like Brita. Some days we would walk so many kilometers that we would be very tired at the end of the day and we could not find a convenience store close by to get water.
