We are a family of four that stayed four nights at this house in Granada and our experience was amazing. The house itself is stunning and enhanced our trip. We visited in August when it was quite hot and fortunately the air conditioning worked really well. The views from the upstairs living room and nearby terrace are incredible. Probably the best place we stayed while visiting Spain.

Very nice location, decorated with taste. The house itself is very well preserved albaycin house. It’s better to get a taxi from the parking then walk with luggages.

everything was great, I was not expected to have the apartment in 4 levels. level 0 is the small kitchen and dining area, level -1 has a bed rooms but smells not too good. the first level has two bed rooms that are good. and the last one has a living area with a balcony over alhambra (amazing view). in general, the host is very helpful and understanding. she shared good list of things to do and restaurants. the apartment is like old style, nice to try. the apartment is 20 minutes walk from alhambra, and 5 minutes walking from main street that is always busy, and many flaminco dancers. the parking is not close by, so you need either to walk 14 minutes to the apartment pr take the bus 34 to arrive. The street are super narrow, and it is not easy to drive. so i am glad that I parked my car in a parking.

This house is all about the views of the Alhambra... Sit on its rooftop terrace and take in the unobstructed panoramic view of the Unesco World Heritage site while enjoying a glass of wine... Perched high atop the Albaicín neighborhood, you should expect to tackle some hills and stairs... We found the house adequate for our two-night stay.

Loved Carlos’ place in Granada! The location was ideal for walking to major sights, including Alhambra, restaurants, and shopping. The AC was greatly appreciated given the July heat. Our family of 5 (parents with 3 young adult kids) made use of all 4 levels of living space and had ample room to spread out, but be prepared, there are a lot of steps to climb up and down so something to keep in mind if you have very young children or anyone in your party has mobility issues. Overall, this is a charming place that truly allows you to feel the splendor of this great city. The views from the sitting room and outdoor rooftop deck of the Alhambra and the surrounding area are incredible and worth every penny! The home was very clean and the kitchen had all we needed for light meal prep and morning coffee. I highly recommended this unique space !

We (my family - husband and 2 teenagers) couldn´t believe how amazing this apartment was for our 3 night stay in Granada. It is so much bigger ( on 4 floors) than the photos show ...so much space, and the view of the Alhambra is incredible. There is everything you need in the house, it´s beautiful, and it stays very cool with the a/c. Everything is in walking distance...there is a short staircase ( no vehicles) to get to the main street, and all you need is 5 - 10 mins away. We took a taxi to the Alhambra. I highly recommend!

This is a gorgeous place near Alhambra. It is a pretty steep walk to any bars and restaurants and the interior is definitely not for those with mobility issues - but the view is stunning and the details are beautiful. I would not that Apple Maps gives incorrect directions and you may want to confirm or get specifics from the host in advance.

Wow what a view! Straight across the valley is the Alhambra. This is a typical local house in the old town on the village side of the valley. We loved the feeling of being in a home. Carlos and his team were very clear and easy to deal with. Would love to have stayed longer.

This property is so very special. It’s unlike anywhere with not just a view of the Alhambra - but the best view in town, that the pictures just don’t do justice. The taxi or Uber cannot drop you right in front of the door so expect a little walking with your luggage, and once you get to the house it’s split on 4 levels so keep in mind you will have to carry your suitcase up / down stairs. That being said, it’s WORTH IT. The house feels like a medieval fairy tale house. You are staying in the most historic part of town (the neighborhood is a UNESCO neighborhood) overlooking the Alhambra - another UNESCO world heritage site. It’s very very special and we enjoyed the sunset on the terrace every night with a glass of wine. Don’t hesitate and book this property today.

This is one of the coolest places we have stayed. We loved the house, that patio view was incredible and we loved sitting out there looking at the Alhambra. The bedrooms we all great and comfortable for our family of five. Our children stayed upstairs in the two bedrooms across from each other and we stayed two floors below in the downstairs room which is a long ways from each other, if I had small children I wouldn´t want to be this far away from them but it worked for us. You do hear everything from outside, the cars and people passing by. One night a garbage truck came by and we thought someone was in the house, it was really loud from inside. Not a big deal for us as most of our time was spent out exploring this amazing city. I would recommend staying here.

After a long travel day, we had to wait at least 30 minutes for the host to let us in, even after following the instructions to call in advance (which we did within the requested timeframe — 3 times, in fact). Once the host arrived, she spent some time showing us around the space and honestly, this part of the process could have been eliminated to save time and make check-in more efficient and less intrusive. All of that aside, the property itself is absolutely fantastic with a breathtaking view of the Alhambra and the city. The rooftop and upstairs living area is worth the price of admission, and the location is hard to beat. You’re in the heart of the action, which can make the street noise a bit raucous at times but it’s nothing a good noise machine or fan can’t fix. If you’re in Granada, this property is an ABSOLUTE must stay.

Honestly it was a bit like waking up in a fairytale! An authentic home, so unique and fascinating and close to so many beautiful spots in the old town of Granada. Lots of stairs inside but we did not mind. Few little extras like hand soap shampoos would have been nice but the place was unbeatable! Beds comfy! View AMAZING!

The terrace is the highlight of this house. If weather is good - the view from this terrace is the best. You will have a full scale Alkhambra view. Also you will see same nice view from several windows in the house. Location is awesome, few minutes and you could access all best restaurants, balconies, coffee shops, taxi.
House is huge and very cold. Consider visiting only if it is really warm outside. And only if you could split the cost with some of your friends. Also a lot of tourists are wondering around. Expect a lot of noise from the street 24/7. So only if you are the good sleeper :-)

The accommodation was in a fantastic location in the old part and had the best view of the Alhambra probably in the whole city!The terrace was brilliant to enjoy the sun with marvellous views in every directions. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we could ask for and was very interesting over several floors. It would be interesting to know a little history about the building. The location was excellent and easy walking distance to all places of interest. Lots of excellent bars and restaurants very nearby to the property. I would definitely recommend staying at this lovely home if visiting the city.

Amazing— the terrace was my favorite spot and the view of Alhambra was magical, but when it rained the living room was a perfect hang out spot. Lots of walking and stairs in Granada— but that was expected! My favorite Airbnb so far.

This house is absolutely outstanding! The best property we have ever rented. Checkin was smooth and the communication with the host was excellent. The pictures in Airbnb do not make justice to the house. Is like having all modern creature comforts while stepping back in time to the Middle Ages. The architectural details are exquisite. Such good taste. We stayed only two nights, and we visited Granada but most of the time we just enjoyed ourselves staying at the house. Sitting at the terrace and soaking the views. We will definitely rent this property again if we come back to Granada. We have been in Granada before and we visited the Alhambra in the past. We learned that entering the Alhambra is very restricted these days. So make sure you get the tickets well in advance. One week was not enough to get tickets, so be warned we couldn’t get tickets. Second, make sure that you do not drive through the Calle San Juan de los Reyes. The road turns too narrow you’ll scratch the car.

This property is beautiful, the views of Alhambra are incredible, and the home reflects the architectural history of the area. We knew (and it was expected) that accessing the house required being dropped at the end of the narrow cobblestone street and walking our luggage to the property. We were given advice to leave our rental car at a car park outside the historic district and get a taxi or Uber to the closest accessible street. Knowing this in advance was key, but the extra steps needed for arrival and departure were worth it. We have children old enough to help with luggage and we do not have any mobility issues. We did not have any communication issues with the management of the property and our visit was smooth. It is a great place to stay for a visit to Granada and the rooftop terrace was a dream. There was some decent nighttime noise from the street and from the school across the street, but we used white noise apps on our phones & were able to sleep comfortably.

Great home in the Albaycin. Rooftop views are fantastic and it’s not a hard walk down to Plaza Nueva. The home has a lot of steps and levels because it’s authentic. It has been redone with double pane glass and everything feels just right. Lots of closet space. The management company is great.

We really enjoyed our stay in Granada! Amazing views of the Alhambra from the sitting area and terrace - that was definitely the highlight. Comfortable beds and very clean. Lots of charm, great location for visiting Alhambra and town. Unfortunately our visit got off to a rocky start, the host was an hour late meeting us. After giving notice multiple times of our arrival, we waited in the rain with limited communication from the host. They were apologetic but I feel like the lengthy delay in the rain was not hospitable.

There were 4 of us and plenty of room. The terrace was beautiful even on a cool December day and there are views of Alhambra from the terrace and other windows which was magical. The house ( particularly entry level) was a little cold when we arrived but warmed up well overnight . Overall it was just a wonderful home, location and stay!

This house was incredible! Beautiful, charming place with so much character, yet beautifully and tastefully refurbished. We loved the roof top patio with breathtaking views of the Alhambra and the surrounding area, and when we weren´t site seeing, spent as much time there as possible. Our family of five spent five nights there - beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and location was perfect. We loved everything about our stay here - the house was so unique and special - it´s a place we will always remember! Thank you for sharing it with us. We 100% recommend staying here!

Fabulous house, wonderful decor, terrific view. Close to Granada if you want it, but in the heart of Albaicin with all its charm, supermarket very close by as well as bars/restaurants. Well equipped kitchen for cooking. Carlos and letting agent were very responsive throughout and offered advice when needed. Apple maps could not find the house but other apps can!

Overall this house is beautiful and our group loved our stay here for a few days! Perfectly located in proximity to Albaicín, very helpful hosts and really unique features and decor throughout the place. The terrace has the most beautiful view of the city and Alhambra, with the most gorgeous lounge leading to it. Overall, we loved our stay!

Highly recommend staying at this house if you’re coming to Granada! The house has unparalleled views of the Alhambra from the rooftop outdoor area as well as tons of character. It made for a truly unique, wonderful experience. Fantastic location close to many restaurants and walking distance to the Granada.
