Maria Luisa Park in Seville
30 abril, 2018
The good weather arrives and with it the desire to walk and enjoy the life that Seville has in the spring. May can be a very hot month in Seville, so today we invite you to look for a good shade in this green lung of the city, our charming Maria Luisa Park.
It is an area of 340,000m2, composed, in part, by the Gardens of the Palace of San Telmo (current headquarters of the Junta de Andalucía) and bordering the Plaza de España. One of the icons of this park is Mount Gurugú, a mountain that can be climbed, and that has a beautiful waterfall. It is a very photogenic place. Another of the «great photographed» of the park is the duck pond, where children enjoy enormously feeding ducks and swans; as well as the the lions fountain.
Among roses, scented jasmine and petunias, we will feel the outbreak of spring in all our senses. In the shade of a chestnut tree or those precious «trees of love» the climate of these days makes us more friendly, less suffocating, and allows us to rest and gather strength to continue discovering the charms of Seville.
