Exhibition Andy Warhol. El Arte Mecánico

The CaixaForum exhibition center in Madrid hosts an exhibition that is a must for lovers of pop art and specifically Andy Warhol.

The author began his career as an illustrator in magazines of great name, such as Vogue. His designs, an explosive mixture of color and originality, enjoyed great success. But the illustration was not the only artistic branch that Warhol worked; his restless art is composed of several elements: photography, prints, vinyl, literature, cinema, etc. He was always a reference of modernity, and due to his revolutionary work has been one of the most influential artists of the XXth.

The exhibition includes his most iconic works, more than 350 elements in total, which makes it the largest retrospective of Andy Warhol in Spain to date.
